    Civil War Cavalry Officers' Sword Belt Rig.
    A great display piece including a nice officers' sword belt with brass eagle waist belt plate benchmarked "527" and the brass keeper benchmarked "350"; a cap box inspector marked "E. METZLER / PHILA" and "H.H. Hartzell / U.S. / ORD. DEPT. / SUB INSPECTOR" on the inside flap "lacking the fleece lining"; and a carbine cartridge box marked "SICKLES & CO. / MO / ST. LOUIS" on the inside flap, complete with wooden block and all buckles, straps, and flaps.

    Condition: Generally very good. Scuffing and light cracking to the surface of the leather. The leather is still supple and flexible.
