Civil War: 14K Gold Case Pocket Watch Etched with "Pine Bluff Arkansas Volunteers" and Engraved "J. R. Core". The Waltham watch was made after the Civil War, but is obviously a treasured commemoration of the conflict. The inside back cover has, in addition to the etched "Pine Bluff Arkansas Volunteers", a Confederate battle flag, "Core / Mosby / Caldwell", and "1837 / Jan. 6 / Xmas / 1864". The front of the case is engraved "J.R.C.". The watch is accompanied by two gold-filled watch chains totaling 27 inches in length. The functionality of the watch has not been established.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
