Case-hardened number 2 action, serialed 57717, engraved with fine foliate scroll and scenes of pointers and setters. Chain-style border engraving. Floorplate shows a field scene with a setter. Extractors. Automatic safety. Checkered replacement Monte Carlo pistolgrip stock of semi-figured contrasting walnut. Skeleton buttplate. Checkered in the manner of a G grade. Checkered replacement beavertail pull-off fore-end serialed 210343. Data: Barrel Dimensions: Bores: 0.0732/0.0733-inches. Chokes: 0.038/0.037-inches (Full). Chambers: 2 5/8-inches.     Condition: Very Good, as reconfigured. Barrels show 96-98% bluing with some light spotting. Bright bores with some leading ahead of chambers. Action and furniture shows silver gray patina. Replacement triggerguard screw. Replacement stock and fore-end show a few light marks.
