    Brass Frame English Screw Barrel F/L Pocket Pistol with 2" Snap Bayonet C. 1790. 7¼" overall with 2½" iron .45 caliber screw barrel, with notches cut in the face of the muzzle to facilitate removal. English proofs on underside of brass breech. Frame engraved with flag panoplies and maker "Pitt/ Canterbury". Line engraving on hammer, frizzen and trigger guard. Sliding safety fully engraved. Barrel generally smooth and dark with a few tiny dents, negligible, all other metal smooth and clean, the brass with nice patina. Mechanically fine. Grips with just a few tiny dents else perfect. Scarce form, fine condition.
