18th Century All Steel Scottish F/L Belt Pistol. Slightly smaller size. 10¼" overall with 6¼" .58 caliber round smoothbore barrel that for the last 1 1/8" becomes octagonal and is flared. All metal generally smooth and clean with just a few patches of salt and peppering and one tiny patch of very light pitting on the barrel. Complete and original in every respect with absolutely no restoration or repair. All surfaces engraved with scroll and geometric motifs with the exception of the 3" steel belt hook. Mechanically perfect, signed (???) Campbell on the lock. Exceptional example of a somewhat unusual form.
