    U.S. 1872 Pattern Enlisted Waist Belt and Belt Plate Sold With a U.S. Regulation 1839 Pattern Cartridge Box Plate. Comprising: 1.) A nice, complete example of an enlisted man's 1872 Pattern leather belt measuring nearly 2-inches wide and 29-inches long. Retains both leather keepers. Unmarked. The belt is complete with a nice Hagner 1872 pattern brass belt plate, this example stamped "35 / H" on the reverse. 2.) Oval brass regulation 1839 Pattern cartridge box plate, lead backed, retaining both iron wire mounting loops.

    Condition: 1.) Very good. Some modest mildewing to the leather belt. Belt plate with modest wear. 2.) Very good. A few small shallow nicks and scratches to the brass.
