    Description

    Post Civil War Militia Forage Cap.
    Inside marked with a "W. STOKES KIRK / MILITARY GOODS / PHILADELPHIA PA" maker's mark. Blue wool body, black cloth lining, with leather bill and sweatband. The top of the cap has crossed cannon insignia and the numeral "10". The right side of the cap exhibits an unknown red, white and blue cloth diamond shaped insignia.

    Condition: Very good. The wool body has a few scattered moth holes, especially in the folds. Lacking chinstrap.
