    Lot of Two Italian Military Hats: Bersaglieri and Alpini. Includes: 1) Enlisted Mans' Hat for the 4th Bersaglieri Division "Italia". Classic black pressed-felt hat, the upper side of the brim lacquered. The stamped gilt-brass insignia of the 4th Division is mounted on a red/white/green cloth cockade. The hat is complete with the iconic black capercaillie feather plume. The leather sweatband and red silk lining are complete and in excellent condition. The hat retains the original leather chinstrap. The lacquered brim is crazed, but the hat is in overall excellent condition. 2) Italian Alpini Hat With Artillery Insignia. Off green wool with a gilt wire artillery emblem sewn to the front. Orange silk lining, maker marked with leather sweatband. A few small moth holes and tracks, otherwise in very good condition.
