    Lot of Two French Napoleonic Headgear Plates. Comprising: 1) French mitre cap plate. Rayed background with rooster surmounting a ball with raised numeral 13. Below is a laurel and oakleaf wreath with riband reading: Liberte Ordre Public. Curved front. Size: 5 5/8-inches tall X 8 3/8-inches wide. 2) French Grenadier mitre cap plate. Die-struck rayed background surmounted by a flaming bomb. Holes for attachment to cap. Size: 5 3/4-inches tall X 5 3/4-inches wide. Condition: Both are very good to excellent with age wear and patina.
