    Description

    Pennsylvania 155th Regiment Volunteer Infantry I.D. Badge.
    Silver Maltese cross measuring 1.25" square, inscribed "Co. C 155th P.V." Original T-bar pin attachment on verso with some light tarnish. This unit was part of the 5th Corps of the Army of the Potomac and, beginning in February 1864, adopted the French-style Zouave uniform, becoming Pearson's Zouave Brigade. The fought at Fredericksburg, Chancellorsville, Gettysburg, the Wilderness, Spotsylvania Court House and Cold Harbor, among many others.
