    9th Kansas Volunteer Cavalry: Gordon Stamps Silver I.D. Badge.
    25 mm x 27 mm. thin, embossed silver badge. An eagle and draped flags appears at top. Below that, it is engraved: "G. F. Stamps./ Co. M/ 9th K.V.C." Lacks pin attachment. Some minor bends. Partial loss to eagle at top. Beautifully toned. Gordon F. Stamps enlisted on August 8, 1863 and mustered out on July 17, 1865 at De Vall's Bluff, Arkansas. The regiment engaged guerillas (such as Quantrill's Raiders) in Kansas, Missouri and Arkansas.
