Swedish Infantry Officer's Spiked Helmet. A beautiful helmet owing much to German style, measuring approximately 10-inches to the top of the spike. A large gilded-brass plate is mounted over the front of the leather body on which is mounted a beautiful Swedish national emblem comprised of three crowns set upon a blue enamel shield. The 4 ½-inch tall spike is mounted to a round base and secured to the helmet with four star-head screws. A gilded-brass spine runs from the edge of the neck shield to the spike base. Flat chin scales attached with two threaded rosettes. A single yellow cockade is positioned on the wearer's right. The liner, much like its German counterparts, features a wide leather sweat band and silk lining. Marked by hand size "55".

Condition: Excellent. From the collection of J. T. Hamrick, M. D.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
