    Morion with Nuremberg Acceptance Mark.

    Approximately 12 1/2-inches tall. The steel helmet of traditional form, having a crested skull with upturned front and rear brim. Simple pattern edging to brim and crest. Lining rivets to brim. Bordered but spaced with rosette washers secured by head lining rivets. Hammer marks to interior. A plume holder is riveted to both side of helmet. Nuremberg acceptance mark on right side of brim near the back.

    Condition: Good for its age. Moderate wear overall, with patina, pitting and scattered marks. Inside with surface rust and heavier pitting.
