Large Lot of Imperial German Spiked Helmet Parts.

A great opportunity to acquire the bits and pieces necessary to restore those lingering spiked helmet restoration projects. Including in the lot are Prussian enlisted plates - two that are gilded-brass (the mounting threaded posts are damaged on the reverse of one example) and one wartime gray; a gilded-brass Württemberg example which for some inexplicable reason has slits cut on either side of the shield; and a wartime gray Baden plate. Additionally there are six Reichs, one Prussian, and an unidentified blue and gold cockade. There are four enlisted spikes on bases (two gilded-brass and two wartime gray) and two bases without spikes. Finally, there are four M91 chinstrap hooks and some incidental pits and pieces.

Condition: All parts generally in good to very good condition. From the collection of J.T. Hamrick, M.D.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
