    Beautiful Prussian Model 1895 Enlisted Spiked Helmet Identified to Infantry Regiment 149. 9-inches tall with black leather body and visors trimmed in gilded-brass. 3 ½-inch tall spike on a round base secured to the helmet by four round-head retainers. Gilded-brass eagle front plate affixed to the helmet via short pieces of leather. No extra holes in the helmet body. Model 1891 chinstrap lugs with leather chinstrap. Both cockades present. Nine-finger black leather liner. Inside rear visor stamped in black ink "J. R. 149 / 1910". Maker marked "E. de la Croix / Berlin". Size 56.

    Condition: Excellent. With minor scuffs and scratches. In very collectible condition. From the collection of J. T. Hamrick, M.D.
