    Description

    Austria: Two Miniature Imperial Austrian Helmets, including a Model 1905 Dragoon Officers' Helmet with a black enameled body with brass trim and high brass comb with a vignette of a lion in combat with a snake embossed on each side and a brass Austrian double-headed eagle front plate, brass lion's head chinscale bosses, and leather-backed brass oak-leaf pattern chinscales. The other miniature helmet is a generic steel-bodied form with a spike for a white horse-hair plume and a brass Austrian double-headed eagle front plate, brass lion's head chinscale bosses, and leather-backed brass oak-leaf pattern chinscales. Both helmets are approximately 3" high and are in very fine condition.
