    Group of ID'd Civil War Shaving Implements. The group includes: tin shaving mug, 4 1/2" high, perfect untouched condition but missing soap dish; period shaving brush; Civil War dated Emerson's razor strop with case and label. Very good sound condition although label with some darkening and a few edge chips; 2 1/4" X 4" wooden body mirror with sliding lid. Shows considerable wear / use with one large chip at edge. Written in period pencil script on the underside of the lid, "J. Hagman". Joseph Hagman served with the 45th Pennsylvania Infantry from 8/10/62 to 7/28/64. He was captured at Knoxville 12/14/63 and died in Andersonville 7/28/64. Nicely ID'd group.
