    Description

French WWII Navy Model 1939 Helmet and Gas Mask. First appearing in 1939, this new pattern was basically a Model 1926 Adrian helmet modified to accept the French navy's AFM 34 gas mask. The Model 39 has a shortened front bill, lacks the comb of the Model 26 and has an attachment on the rear of the helmet to accept the AFM 34's canister. The helmet is painted a grey/blue and is complete with liner. The gas mask is lacking the rubber hose and canister. Very good condition.
