    Description

    European Halberd.

    Approximately 87-inches overall. 10-inch head to the tip of the double sided spike. The axe blades are pierced and decorated with multiple elements including somewhat gothic patterns and features. Armorers mark present. The head is mounted to the wooden shaft via two partial iron bands [on both sides] with round-head rivets or nails, fully decorated textile on shaft held by decoration studs throughout. The pole has a 2 1/4-inch iron ferrule at the base.

    Condition: Good to very good. Metal with handling age wear and patina. Light to moderate marks and surface imperfections present. Edges sharpened at some point. Some studs possibly added later or replacements. Wooden shaft solid, but textile lining and studs with soil stains, wear and losses from handling.
