    Description

    West Point: Two Pieces of Related Ephemera. Comprised of: 1.) a 4.25" x 6.75" booklet containing the Unites States Army registers for 1793, 1795, and 1798. Dated 1871, inscribed on the inside front cover from General Henry Washington Benham (first in class at West Point in 1837) to Col. Boynton. 2.) a one-page letter, measuring 3.75" x 5.25", from the Secretary of War, dated January 8, 1815, appointing Capt. Adam Partridge as superintendent of West Point Military Academy.
    Condition: Both pieces show light toning and handling wear.
