[U.S. Mounted Riflemen Companies]. Archive of 18 Regimental Documents, Dated 1851-1858. Includes nine signatures by five future Civil War generals: David H. Vinton, Samuel Cooper (two signatures), William Wing Loring, John S. Simonson, and William E. "Grumble" Jones (four signatures). This archive consists of documents (returns of provisions, general orders, invoices, monthly summary statements, etc.) relating to U.S. Mounted Riflemen companies stationed at several Texas frontier camps and forts (Fort Ewell, Fort Inge, etc.). Other regimental officers (Lt. Thomas G. Williams, 1st Lt. Julian May, Deputy Quartermaster General D. D. Tompkins, Assistant Quartermaster James Belger, and 2nd Lt. Hyatt C. Ransom) have signed many of the remaining documents. These documents exhibit light toning, minor separations along folds, but have been well preserved.

The pre and post sales experience was wonderful and flawless. Heritage has the best in-house operation I have ever seen and their people are not only professional but fun to work with, especially Steve C.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
