Description[2nd U.S. Cavalry]. Ten Printed Army Orders, 1854-1858, varying in lengths from one page to twelve. Many relate to the 2nd U.S. Cavalry in Texas and list promotions, military trials, charges (most involving drunkenness), regulation updates, and more. Some with ink annotations. The 2nd U.S. Cavalry was organized in 1855 specifically for service in Texas. Secretary of War Jefferson Davis personally chose the members of the elite unit, including officers Robert E. Lee, Albert Sydney Johnston, Kirby Smith, and John Bell Hood. This unit became Lee's final command in the U.S. Army. The regiment left Texas only when ordered out during the secession crisis. Some orders are toned; some with minor tears and stains.

As for Heritage's online system… Yes the interface is more complex than what we are used to with SAN but what is behind that interface is amazing for sellers and buyers alike. It is real time and for a real serious auction buyer there is nothing better in the auction industry, bar none.
HA.com receives more traffic than any other auction house website. (Source: Similarweb.com)
