    Civil War: Assorted Buckles and Insignia. Group of seventeen [17] items, both dug and non-dug. Includes a Bannerman CSA belt plate "re-strike", six assorted "frame" belt buckles, a two-piece sterling silver sword belt plate by Gorham & Company, an unusual "drooped wing eagle" two-piece sword belt plate found in Texas, a partial wreath belt plate and seven different crescent & star insignia/harness hardware, several of which were found in Texas. These are sometimes associated with the Knights of the Golden Circle or the city of New Orleans.
