    C. 1825 Vermont Militia Officer's Coatee. The coat retains 37 of the original 40 rare VT 5 (Albert) Vermont buttons with "R. & W. Robinson Attleborough Extra Rich" backmark. The coat itself is in rather poor condition but worthy of restoration. Fine quality blue wool with buff facings. 2 3/4" standup collar. A large silver bullion and sequined nine pointed star is affixed at the breast. Two sets of hand whipped eyelets at each shoulder with 1/2" wide silver bullion strip for affixing epaulettes. Heavily padded, quilted, white silk breast lining, white wool lining in the collar. The collar closes with a series of hooks and eyes. The coat overall exhibits about 10% loss from mothing, with the breast lining worn but about 80% intact. The buttons are all untouched/uncleaned and retain 95% of the original silver. Readily restorable into an attractive early American militia coatee with very rare and desirable buttons.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
