    Fine Suit of Armor in the 17th Century Style.

    Measuring approximately 66 1/2-inches; 73 1/2-inches overall on the wooden base with casters. Finely detailed 17th century elements. A great example true to detail and with the armor working as designed with articulated arms, elbows and leg joints. Complete tasset. No visible maker's marks. Roped edges on most of the armor. Sold without a sword. Internal parts hammered and fitted with rivets. Closed helmet with high crest. Base is 21 1/2 x 21 1/2-inches. Armor is 28-inches at widest point, elbows.

    Condition: Very good to fine with age wear and patina. Light surface rust and patches of pitting present. Surface rust noticeable to Sabaton. Suit is a bit loose overall and needs tightening and adjustments to display properly. Some replaced parts, including parts of visor, all of the vent-tail and suit legs [possibly 19th century leg replacements]. Also, missing visor rivet. Delamination present.
