    Antique European War Hammer, 16th-17th Century.

    Approximately 22-inches overall and 5 3/4-inches from tip of spike to face of hammer. Of typical weapon form, iron composition with wooden handle inserts. Pommel flat square base of 1-inches. Fitted with a smooth transitional square handle/shaft overall. Minor belt hook of simple form. Modestly decorated elements adorn the spike and hammer.
    Approximate weight is 1-pound, 1-ounce.

    Very good as configured. An overall dark gray patina. Some surface rust, pitting and imperfections present. Wooden features with moderate wear and bruising.
