    Winchester Model 1894 Saddle Ring Carbine.
    Serial no. 839460, 32-40 caliber, 20-inch round barrel. Barrel with standard Winchester address and markings. Standard sights for the carbine. Blued finish with walnut stocks. Winchester proofmarks near barrel breech and frame. Manufactured in 1919. Research and quotes with the help of Flayderman's Guide to Antique American Firearms. Total production approximately over 3,000,000 since 1894. According to Flayderman's, The Model 1894 was Winchester's first lever action made for smokeless powder cartridges. Note: This gun last sold at Greg Martin Auctions, Estate Arms Collections Sale, Featuring The Estate of Ira Yeager, June 6-7, 2004, Lot 189.

    Condition: Very good with 60-70% bluing to barrel and tube with balance thinning. Strong bluing to lever and hammer with some pitting. Traces to protect areas of frame with the rest, gray patina with some pitting. Stocks appear revarnished with some bruising, dents and mars. Buttplate with wear, pitting and handling. Marred screws. Action good. Bore very good.
