    Winchester Model 1886 Lever Action Rifle. Serial no. 65691, .45-70 caliber, 26-inch octagonal barrel with Lyman
    German silver blade and ivory bead front sight and adjustable rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Walnut stock. Crescent steel buttplate. Condition: Good. Finish a smooth thin gray-brown patina with just traces of blue in protected areas. Receiver is gray with traces of silvered case-colors around loading gate. Tang screws possible replacements. Tool marks around lower frame screw. Stock good with moderate age wear and patina. Deep gouge under forearm. Buttplate showing patches of moderate pitting. Good bore with moderate wear. Manufactured 1892. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
