    Winchester Model 1876 Saddle Ring Carbine, 3rd Model.
    Serial no. 39884, .45-60 caliber, 22-inch round barrel with fixed front sight and rear ladder sight. Blued finish. Dust cover. Saddle ring. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. N.W.M.P. stamped to right side of stock. LOT 123 L stamped to base of stock near lower tang. Metal carbine butt. Manufactured in 1883. Cody Firearms Records Office search confirms only Type: Carbine, originally shipped with Spanish Metric Sights.

    Condition: Good. Retaining traces of finish in protected areas, the balance a plum brown, grey patina with scattered wear and pitting. Noticeable scuffs and dings to wood. Action good. Strong bore.
