    Description

    Winchester Model 1866 Second Model Lever Saddle Ring Carbine.
    Serial no. 16734 (concealed on the side of the tang), .44 rim fire caliber, 20-inch round barrel with flip up rear and fixed front sight. Blued with case-hardened lever and hammer; brass frame and curved buttplate. Saddle ring mounted on the left side of the receiver. Top of barrel marked "HENRY'S PATENT OCT. 16. 1860 / KINGS PATENT MARCH 29 1866". Walnut stock and fore-end.

    Condition: Good. Bluing worn to smooth bare metal with some scattered dark areas of old surface rust. Brass with a warm patina. A few screw heads damaged. Stock with scattered light to heavy scratches, dents and a few scattered worm holes. Mechanically crisp with a nice bore.
