    Description

    Winchester First Model 1873 Lever Action Carbine.
    Serial no. 16833, .44-40 caliber, 20-inch barrel with fixed front sight and folding rear sight. Blued and case-hardened finish. Saddle ring. Dust cover with thumbprint. Smooth walnut straight stock and fore-end. Brass carbine butt with cleaning rod reservoir. Manufactured in 1877.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a smooth grey patina with noticeable signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Cleaning rod absent. Scattered scuffs, dings and bruising present to wood. Action good. Lightly pitted bore.
