    U.S. Springfield Model 1884 Warner Bros. Prop Trapdoor Carbine.

    Serial no. 348399, .45-70 caliber, 22-inch barrel with absent front and rear sights. Top of barrel marked: WB81348 and V / P / (eagle head) / P proofs. (eagle) and U.S. / SPRINGFIELD to lock. Saddle ring. Smooth walnut straight stock with barrel band stamped U. Base of stock carved: FLP P 5. U.S. metal carbine butt.

    Condition: Good. Overall showing noticeable areas of handling wear and surface rust. Heavy dings, scuffs and bruising to wood. Large repair at wrist. Action good. Pitted bore.
