    U.S. Springfield Armory Model of 1922 Bolt Action Rifle.

    Serial no. 206, .22 caliber, 24 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear peep sight. Blued finish. Top of barrel marked: S A / (flaming bomb) / 5-22. Smooth walnut pistolgrip stock with sling swivels. Ranger ventilated rubber recoil pad. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 9161 / MEMORIAL.
    Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum, Part II.

    Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 50-60% of a thinning finish, with scattered signs of handling wear and patches of pitting. Dings and scuffs present to wood. Action crisp. Bright bore.
