    U.S. Remington-Lee Model 1885 Navy Contract Bolt Action Rifle. Serial no. 52265, .45-70 caliber, 32 ½-inch round barrel with standard military sights. Blued finish. Receiver ring marked U.S.N. / [ANCHOR] / C.E.C. Walnut stock with two barrel bands, two sling swivels and one stacking swivel. Cleaning rod. No inspector's cartouches visible on the stock. Condition: Good. Metal surfaces with a uniform brown patina and with scattered light to moderate pitting. Stock with moderate wear including scratches, small dents, bruising and bit of chipping at the butt. Bore bright. Action strong. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
