    U.S. 1943 Inland M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine With All Early Features.

    Serial no. 253734, .30 caliber, 18-inch barrel with early flip-up rear sight and fixed front sight. Parkerized finish. Walnut pistol-grip stock with "I" cut, high wood, two-rivet handguard and checkered-metal buttstock. Receiver marked "INLAND DIV.", barrel marked "INLAND MFG. DIV. / GENERAL MOTORS / 2-43". Type I narrow barrel band with "UI" marked sling swivel, flat bolt, milled trigger housing and push-button safety. Ordnance escutcheon stamped on the right side of the butt; double-stamped circle P on the bottom of the pistol grip. Inland "IS" marked magazine. Sold with an original oiler and olive web cloth sling.

    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 90% of the finish with moderate wear from handling. With the typical dents, dings and scratches on the stock. Mechanically strong with a bright bore.
