    Description

    Winchester "Winder" Model 1885 Low Wall Single-Shot Rifle. Serial no. 128519, .22 short caliber, 28-inch round barrel with elevated dovetailed front sight and aftermarket custom combination rear sight. Blued finish. Lever action. Varnished walnut stock and fore-end. Sling mounts. Carbine style butt. Named after the famed marksman, Col. C.B. Winder. Made in 1918 as a WWI U.S. Army training rifle.
    Condition: Very good as refinished. Retaining approximately 95-100% reblued finish. Barrel tapped for another rear sight. Wood refinished. Action good.
