    U.S. Springfield Percussion Rifle, Lockplate Dated 1845.

    Unserialized, approximately .70 caliber, 29-inch barrel with fixed front sight. Lock marked: SPRING / FIELD / 1845 and (eagle) / U.S. Smooth walnut full body stock with sling swivel, metal ramrod and buttplate.
    Property from the Estate of Robert (Bobby) Palazzo, Westlake Village, Ca.

    Condition: Good. Finish a mottled grey patina with noticeable signs of age, handling wear and pitting. Scattered dings, scuffs and bruising present to wood. Action functions. Pitted bore.
