    U.S. Springfield Model 1884 Trapdoor Rifle with Bayonet.
    Serial no. 433222, .45-70 caliber, 32 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable rear sight. Lock plate marked: (eagle) and U.S. SPRINGFIELD. Smooth walnut full body stock with sling swivels, stacking swivel and metal ramrod. U.S. stamped metal buttplate. Sold along with socket bayonet with 18-inch dual side blade. Property of a West Texas collector.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a cleaned grey finish with noticeable wear and pitting. Minor scuffs and dings to wood. Action good. Action good. Strong bore.
