    Scarce Remington Rolling Block Model 1867 Navy Cadet Single Shot Military Rifle. NSNV, .50-45 caliber, 32 ½-inch barrel with pedestal front sight and three-position folding-leaf rear sight. Three-groove rifling. Two case-hardened barrel bands. Breech marked with letter P and H.B.R. inspector stamps. Anchor stamp on top of barrel at breech. Blued finish. Rolling block action marked: USN/Springfield/1870. Varnished walnut stock and fore-end. Carbine style butt. Sling mounts. Steel cleaning rod. Approximately 498 manufactured. Condition: Good as refinished.
