    C. Sharps Model 1852 Breechloading Saddle Ring Carbine.
    NVSN, .52 caliber, 21-inch barrel with fixed front and rear sights. Blued finish. Saddle ring. Smooth hardwood straight stock, with hinged brass patchbox. Smooth fore-end with brass barrel band. Brass carbine butt.
    Provenance: National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum. Sold to benefit the Museum's collections and acquisitions.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina, with heavy age, wear and surface rust. Noticeable scuffs, dings and bruising throughout wood. Action good. Dark bore.
