    U.S. Inland Division M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine.
    Serial no. 888866, .30 caliber, 18-inch barrel with adjustable rear sight and fixed front sight. Metal parts parkerized. Undated, Winchester marked barrel. Low wood walnut stock with sling inlet and oval oiler inlet. Metal buttplate and first model front barrel band. Stock with faint ordnance cartouche on the right side of the butt. Comes with a 5-round magazine and OD green military-style web sling. Accompanied by an olive green canvas carrying case marked "LUB. PROD. CO. / 1943".

    Condition: Good. Retaining approximately 60% finish worn to the metal in spots. This weapon doesn't like the 5-round magazine and thus is hard to cock and the bolt hangs on the lip of the empty magazine. Stock with moderate wear; replaced handguard. Bore bright but worn. The carrying case appears unissued with only some damp staining from storage.
