    Remington Model 742 Woodmaster Semi-Automatic Rifle Belonging to Texas Ranger Charles "Chuck" Moore.
    Serial no. 7036246, .30-06 SPRG. caliber, 22 1/4-inch barrel with fixed front sight and micrometer adjust rear sight. Blued finish. Left side of receiver marked: DPS-26868. Checkered walnut pistolgrip stock and fore-end. Ebony grip cap and fore-end cap. Sling swivels and leather shoulder sling. Checkered factory hard rubber buttplate. Compac Super 3X9X32 telescopic sight. Sold along with copy of a letter from Chuck Moore, stating that this rifle was issued to him by the DPS. Also a letter from the Texas Ranger Hall of Fame, stating how long and when the rifle was on loan to them.

    Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 96-98% finish with thinning to muzzle, handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Noticeable scuffs and scratches to left side of shoulder stock. Action good. Bright bore. Clear optics.
