Rare Winchester/Underwood U.S. Model M1 Semi-Automatic Carbine. Serial no. 6466954, .30 caliber carbine, 18-inch barrel with standard military front sights and stamped adjustable rear sight. Parkerized military finish. The Underwood logo on the rear of the receiver is lined out and the marking "A W" stamped on the rear bevel, denoting Winchester acceptance. Winchester "W" marked undated barrel. Round bolt. Later low wood stock with type three front barrel band, bayonet lug, oval oiler recess and checkered buttplate. Ordnance cartouche stamped on the right side of the butt. Four rivet hand guard. "M" marked magazine release. "EW" marked safety. Lacking magazine. Sold with a military-style web sling and oiler and canvas military style carrying bag .
    Condition: Very good. Retaining 85-90% military finish with a bit of light wear on the receiver. Scattered shallow scratches and dents. Crisp action. Bright bore.
