    R.T. Dewalt Contemporary Mule Ear Percussion Rifle. NVSN, .44 caliber, 28-inch octagonal barrel with fixed sights. Blued finish. Scroll engraved lock and hammer. Walnut stock featuring: scroll and floral engraved brass storage compartment with BETTY engraved on lid; heart, oval and pear shaped ivory inserts, one reading: To / Betty / From / Mike; brass inlaid scroll designs. Brass triggerguard and crescent buttplate. Ivory fore-end cap. Wood ramrod.
    Condition: Very good. Finish primarily a dark brown age patina with few trivial scuffs and handling wear. Few fine patches of pitting. Wood showing light scuffs and scratches. Action is good. Bright bore. From the Michael Yeck Collection.
