Remington Model 121 The Fieldmaster Slide Action Rifle.

Serial no. 144166, .22 caliber, 24 1/2-inch barrel with fixed front sight and rear elevation sight. Blued finish, with smooth walnut pistolgrip stock and grooved fore-end. Left frame reads THE FIELDMASTER / MODEL 121.Factory checkered metal buttplate. These Remington rifles were manufactured between 1936 and 1954. This one appears to be a 1950 made one based on the letters on the barrel. A nice clean example of a popular rifle.

Condition: Very good. Retaining approximately 85-90% finish, with thinning to relief edges, scattered handling wear and fine patches of pitting. Scuffs, some dings and scratches present to wood with some discoloration from storage (fading). Dings, mars and light loss near buttplate also. Action crisp. Excellent bore.

This was my first time dealing with an auction house, and I am 100% completely impressed with Heritage. There is not an aspect of this process that I have a critique for.
