    Pennsylvania Half-Stock Percussion Rifle. No visible serial number, .38 caliber (exact bore unknown), 38¼-inch octagonal barrel with German silver front sight. Set trigger. Lock plate marked MOORE/ HENSZEY & CO. Simple waterfowl scene engraved behind hammer. Top of barrel marked J. M. CROSSLAND. Curved brass buttplate with extended heel. Brass triggerguard. Engraved brass sideplate. Brass escutcheons engraved as ears of corn. Walnut half-stock with brass nosecap. Ramrod. Condition: Very good. Barrel with a uniform plum brown patina and the usual powder pitting at the breech. Stock with a few abrasions. Ramrod a bit longer than barrel.
