    Palmetto Armory 1852 Confederate Percussion Rifle.

    Unserialized, approximately .69 caliber, 41-inch barrel with fixed front sight and bayonet lug. Lock marked: COLUMBIA / S.C. 1852 and PALMETTO ARMORY S.C. Left side of barrel showing V / P/ (eagle) proofs. Smooth walnut straight stock with three barrels bands, two sling swivels and metal ramrod. Metal buttplate.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a dark grey patina with noticeable areas of handling wear, age and pitting. Scattered scuffs and dings present to wood. VA poorly carved into right side of stock. Action good. Pitted bore.
