    Description

    Sharps Metallic Cartridge Conversion Carbine.
    NVSN. 50-70 caliber. 22-inch round 3-groove barrel with fixed front sight (worn down) and flip-up adjustable rear sight. Blued barrel with casehardened breech, lock and lever. Faint markings on the right side of the stock: "C. SHARPS' PAT. / OCT. 5TH 1852" and "R.S. LAWRENCE PAT. / APRIL 12TH 1859"; left side of receiver and barrel marked with "C". Walnut stock with metal buttplate. Bar and saddle ring on the left side of the stock. No visible cartouches.

    Condition: Excellent. Barrel with a smooth gray patina; receiver with traces of case color. Stock with minimal wear. Bright bore. Mechanically excellent.
