    Ornate gold-inlaid Krieghoff Neptun-Primus Drilling in 12 gauge and 30/06 calibers.

    Serial no. 81872. 12x12 gauge - 30/06. 25-inch Bohler steel barrels with matted rib with blade front sight and folding rear sight. Flush telescopic sight mounts. Breech with 2-inch wedges of deep floral engraving. Coin finished with hand detachable sidelocks with elaborate deep game scene engraving with gold inlays of Red Stag with 2 hinds on right lock and 3 wild bore on left lock. Triggerguard with floral design in gold. Engraving signed by G. Reich. Gold plated triggers with front the set trigger for the rifle barrel. Gold plated internal parts. Rifle barrel cocked with a thumb slide on the top tang. Finely checkered pistolgrip stock of highly figured walnut with carved oak leaf designs. Cheekpiece. Removable horn buttplate with cavity for .22 Magnum adapter, allen wrench and space for 2 30/06 cartridges. Finely checkered splinter fore-end. Zeiss Diavari-Z 1.5-6x42 telescopic sight with duplex cross hairs. Maroon leather trunk case with green fabric interior and green canvas cover. Maker's label, instructions, and test targets. Data: Chokes: 0.021/0.025 inches (Modified/Improved Modified, Chambers: 2 ¾ inch. Weight: 8 pounds 11 ounces.

    Condition: As new, showing almost no use. Appears unfired except for factory tests. Case in excellent condition. Canvas cover shows some wear and fading.
    Note the gun was made for the European Exposition and was featured on the cover of the 1986 100th Anniversary Krieghoff Catalog cover.
