    Serial no. 23703, 16 gauge and .54 calibers, 32-inch octagonal and round barrels with fixed front and rear sights. Modified priming device. Blued and case-hardened finish. Action and lever stamped with an M inspectors mark. Smooth walnut straight stock with sling swivel. Metal buttplate with tube magazine. Original brass museum inventory tag attached: J.M. DAVIS / 7057 / MEMORIAL.
    Sold to Benefit The JM Davis Collection at the JM Davis Arms and Historical Museum.

    Condition: Good. Finish primarily a plum grey patina with noticeable wear and pitting. Heavy scuffs, dings and bruising to wood. Action good. Moderately pitted bores.
